RAPPAZ, an eco-responsible upcycling brand for women

RAPPAZ is a women’s ready-to-wear brand, founded in 2024 by Adeline Rappaz. Inspired by her commitment to the environmental cause, she decided to take part in an industry that is currently highly polluting in order to offer a responsible alternative: her know-how and her unique universe have enabled her to create an artisanal brand based on the upcycling of discarded items: jeans, tablecloths, sheets, shirts, buttons, jewellery, etc.

At the heart of this approach is a persistent question about what makes clothing precious: time. The time invested in creation and textile research, but also the patina of time that gives each piece its unique character. By adopting eco-responsible practices such as vegetable dyeing and the recovery of forgotten resources, the brand seeks to challenge the throwaway culture and promote thoughtful fashion. At RAPPAZ, each piece is the fruit of a meticulous process of research and creation, all part of an approach that respects the environment.

Adeline Rappaz tells a story with each collection. She recounts her passion for materials through floral patchworks, recycled jewellery bags and pieces embroidered entirely with buttons. This blend of post-apocalyptic punk and floral delicacy allows RAPPAZ to visually convey a strong message where nature reclaims its rights.

The brand now offers two creative lines. The first, dedicated to Couture, combines expertise and innovation. The second is a range of ready-to-wear limited editions, based on the use of recycled materials, with each piece produced in a unique way until resources run out.
